DringTV

Add and update a playlist with the device reference

Every DringTV account has a permanent reference (QR code + short code). It lets you receive a playlist sent from another device — via dringtv.com/qr — without ever exposing your account.

How it works

Every DringTV account has a permanent device reference in the XXXXX-XXXXX format, shown in the app together with its QR code. It is used to receive a playlist sent from another device: you share the reference, the sender fills in the playlist, and it lands on your account.

The reference is write-only: it can add or update a playlist, never read your account, playlists or credentials. You can regenerate it at any time (“New reference”) — the old one stops working immediately.

Show your reference

  1. TV shortcut: from any screen, press ← ↑ → ↓ then ← ↑ → ↓ again on the remote (less than a second between presses) — the reference appears instantly. It also lives in Settings → Quick setup.
  2. On a TV: open DringTV → Add playlist → “QR Code” card.
  3. On a phone or tablet: open DringTV → Add playlist → “Show device code”.
  4. The screen shows the QR code and the reference. It is the same on every device signed in to the same account.

Send a playlist from the web

  1. Open dringtv.com/qr in any browser (scanning the QR code opens the same page with the reference pre-filled).
  2. Enter the reference, then the playlist details: name, type (Xtream Codes, M3U, NAS or Stalker) and credentials.
  3. Submit: the playlist reaches the device within seconds if the code screen is open, or at the next app start otherwise.

DringTV is a media player: it provides no channels, movies or series. You add your own playlist (M3U, Xtream Codes or Stalker portal) supplied by your server. Make sure your sources comply with the law in your country.
