What you need

Your server gave you three pieces of information: the server address (a URL, sometimes called "portal" or "host"), a username and a password. That is all DringTV needs — the app takes care of fetching channels, movies, series and the programme guide (EPG).

Add the playlist

  1. Open DringTV — no account is needed to get started.
  2. Go to Settings → Playlists → Add a playlist, then choose "Xtream Codes".
  3. Enter the server address exactly as it was given to you (including http:// or https:// and the port, e.g. :8080).
  4. Enter the username and password, then confirm.
  5. Let the sync finish: DringTV downloads the catalogue and the TV guide. On a large playlist the first sync can take a minute or two.

After adding it

Your channels appear in the Live TV tab with the programme guide, movies under Movies and series under Series. Refresh the playlist in one tap when your server adds content — DringTV tells you how many new items arrived with each refresh.

With a DringTV account (optional), the playlist, favourites and resume positions sync across phone, tablet and TV: set up once, watch everywhere.

DringTV is a media player: it provides no channels, movies or series. You add your own playlist (M3U, Xtream Codes or Stalker portal) supplied by your server. Make sure your sources comply with the law in your country.
